I remember checking the weather forecast obsessively, almost as if it was my own wedding happening last Friday. You see, Sarah & Chris were to be married outside, surrounded by almost 200 close family and friends. I couldn’t help but pray the rain held off, at least until after the ceremony. When I arrived at Walker’s Overlook – my favorite venue near Frederick, MD – the skies were overcast with no rain!! I was thrilled!
Sarah & Chris did a first look prior to the ceremony and we had plenty of time for portraits on the grounds! We took photos on the swing, by the barns, and in the rolling hills! The light was amazing! I always tell my brides that overcast weather is perfect for photos, and I mean it.
The ceremony followed shortly after and it was as beautiful as the rest of the day! Sarah & Chris said ‘I Do’ outside under a gorgeous oak tree. There they promised to love each other for the rest of their lives. Then, they danced the night away in celebration with their guests!
Sarah & Chris — Thank you both so much for trusting me to capture your wedding day! I was honored to have been a part of it. From now on, I will never listen to Red Solo Cup without thinking of you two! haha. I hope you’re enjoying your honeymoon – wherever you decided on going! Enjoy the preview of your images below!
