Alex & Zach were married last Friday at Walker’s Overlook – a fabulous venue located just north of Frederick, MD. When I pulled up to the venue and was greeted with a custom made “Wedding” sign, I knew it was going to be a memorable day! Alex’s attention to detail was evident in so many aspects of their celebration. She is both a planner and an artist!
Alex hand crafted several signs, including one for the photo booth! She also found vintage-chic furniture to use as display pieces. There was a homemade dessert bar with beautiful labels, a hand drawn “wedding tree” guest book, and a Cigar Bar!
I could go on and on about the details, but what truly made this day special was the people involved. Alex & Zach have such an infectious love. Their affection for one another is evident in their joy and laughter! It was clear to everyone in attendance that they’re perfect for one another!
For as happy as everyone was for them, Alex & Zach were equally as happy to have everyone there! It was evident that every decision was made with their guests in mind. They created a comfortable, laid-back event – where the object was to relax and have a great time! Well, all I can say is mission accomplished!
Alex & Zach – thank you so much for trusting me to capture your day! I had an incredible time with you and your guests. I hope you love the preview of your photos!
Alex’s sister, Kristen, did her hair and make up! This made getting ready extra special!
Such a stunning bride!! LOVE these bridal portraits!
While the girls were getting ready upstairs, the boys were hanging out in the “Man Cave!” I found Zach working on his vows. . .
A very dapper Groom! We can all agree that Zach knows how to rock a bow tie, right?!
MARRIED!!! (and all smiles. . .)
Such a fun bridal party! I loved my time with them!
I spent all day in awe of the florals! How stunning is Alex’s bouquet?!?!
The barn at Walker’s Overlook is the PERFECT place for portraits! The shot below is a new favorite of mine!!
