I can’t believe it’s been so long since I’ve posted on here. One of my hands wants to slap me across the face for slacking off and the other wants to pat me on the back for taking a much needed breather! These past few weeks have been spent working behind the scenes – catching up on editing, planning some exciting things for 2015 (!!!) and continuing work on a new website – more on that coming very soon, hopefully! I have also spent a lot of time with family and friends!

This slower season kicked off with a trip to NYC with my husband! It was amazing. Our day started with a visit to the 9/11 Memorial (hauntingly beautiful), followed by a ferry ride to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. It was fun to actually see these two places up close. In all the times I’ve visited the City, I’d never been to either site. Next we went to the MoMA to see Starry Night (my FAVORITE painting). I was blown away, and deeply inspired, by all the incredible art in the MoMA. It was a privilege to explore!

I decided to leave my camera at home for the day trip. I felt like I needed a break and I really wanted to be in the moment. But I still had a blast with my iPhone and was able to capture some highlights of the trip! Gotta love technology, right?! Enjoy a few of my favorites…
