This Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Taylor & Chris’ wedding! I had been looking forward to this day for quite a while. I left on Friday to travel to Havre de Grace. It was a gorgeous day and I was hoping that the next day would be just as perfect – and it was! Even with its unexpected imperfections, the day turned out exactly as it should have for this wonderful couple.
Taylor and Chris were married at the Concord Point Lighthouse in historic downtown Havre de Grace. Right along the bay, it was a gorgeous location! (Check out the sailboats in their photos!) Immediately following the ceremony we stayed to take portraits. Behind on time due to a late ceremony start, we decided to send the bridal party to the reception in the limo and then have it come back for the bride and groom. It was the perfect solution, but only IF the limo driver remembered to come back — which he did NOT!!
Wondering how Taylor and Chris got to their wedding reception?! Find out by checking out the photo below. Then read this article in the Baltimore Sun!
The reception started shortly after their arrival at La Banque de Fleuve. La Banque was equally as stunning as the ceremony site. With it’s original character preserved, the building has been converted into an event space that adds charm to any occasion. It was the perfect complement to the lighthouse! Following dinner and a first dance, the BAND started and the party began!
Taylor & Chris – thank you both so much for allowing me to capture your special day! I was honored to have been a part of it. I hope the photos previewed below capture what you felt that day and will allow you to relive it for years to come!
