July 4th 2014 meant much more to Anne & Jon than any past holiday. It was their WEDDING DAY!! Anne & Jon were both born in Maryland, met at the University of Maryland and now live in Maryland! So, it was only natural that they tied their love for their state (and Alma Mater) in to their wedding! From the cufflinks to the color scheme, this day screamed Red & Gold and I was thrilled to capture it all!
There are certain times in life that call for family photographs: a new child, graduations, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. One of these times is also when you’re moving! That’s the case for the Zaharko family. They will be making a big move from Frederick, MD to Alabama this month!! It’s an exciting but bittersweet time for them as they prepare to leave family and loved ones for a new journey down south!
Last Thursday I met Casey & Teddy in Fells Point, an awesome neighborhood in Baltimore, MD. Casey & Teddy live and work in Fells Point. They met in college at Salisbury University, where they both worked as bartenders at the same college bar! Years later they are still able to bar tend together on Friday nights at the Hudson Street Stackhouse! It’s a super cool bar and provided the perfect location for the first part of their shoot!
The second half of our week in St. John was equally as fun as the first half! We started Wednesday by renting a Jeep for two days! It was definitely a great way to explore the island and see more of the National Park.
Our first stop was in Cinnamon Bay! Like all the beaches it was absolutely beautiful. And, it was here that I saw my very first sea turtle!! All in all we saw 7 on our trip!
