Sometimes it’s a very small world. That’s all I can say about the origin of this shoot. Almost exactly one year ago today, I flew to Oregon for a Senior Portrait Workshop! It was an incredible experience and I learned so much. I also met some amazing photographers! We’ve kept in touch over the last few months, and when my friend Kelli posted on her FB page about a client from Haymarket, VA (she lives in Jacksonville, FL) I nearly fell out of my chair! Haymarket is such a small town, and I just moved here a few months ago. I’ve been trying to get the word out about my senior portraits, but haven’t had the right opportunity.

I got in touch with Ashley and her mom shortly after seeing Kelli’s post. I could not be more grateful to them for giving the opportunity to shoot! I had SO much fun with this shoot. Ashley is such a sweet girl and a pleasure to work with. She will be a senior next year and I’m proud to have her represent my business as a Senior Rep for 2013!

Hi Susan! Great to hear from another photographer :) Maybe we could meet up sometime! These were taken at the Aldie Mill in Aldie, VA. What do you coach at Battlefield?!
