Alex & Brayden were married on Saturday at the gorgeous Gettysburg Hotel in Gettysburg, PA!
A 90% chance of rain and thunderstorms – ALL. DAY. LONG. That’s what the forecast said when I woke up Saturday morning. When I arrived I gave Alex a big hug and assured her that we’d get wonderful images in spite of the rain! A positive attitude and a reassuring smile goes a long way in making a bride comfortable when it’s pouring outside! I NEVER want my clients to feel like their images will suffer due to the weather.
It poured all the way through the ceremony. Afterward the clouds parted and the rain stopped – for the rest of the day!! It was amazing. I was so happy because we were able to make it to the railroad tracks for photos – which is something Alex had been looking forward to since she first booked the Gettysburg Hotel! I think her first email to me even said “I want photos at the train station!!” I’m so grateful we were able to make that happen!
To the Newlyweds – Thank you for trusting me to capture your special day! I had an amazing time celebrating with you and I could not be happier for you as your start your life together! I hope you’re enjoying every second in Jamaica and I hope you love the preview of your images below!
